Horse Whisperer returns to Cotswold Show
Gary’s appearance at the Cotswold show last year was due to be his last and proved very poignant for everyone. However, having decided that it would be his last demonstration, Gary has agreed to return for 2009 although his performance will be a slightly different format. Gary is keen for his son, Craig to take centre stage at this and future events as part of his plans for Craig to take over the business when Gary eventually retires. Witheford Equine will therefore be represented in the main by Craig, although Gary will be in attendance.
Gary and Craig use a system they call ‘natural horsemanship’ to train unruly horses, which is based on his observation of how horses behave in the wild.
Witheford Equine customers include top trainers from the racing world and Gary has even coached soldiers from the Household Cavalry in his natural horsemanship method. Exact times of Craig’s demonstrations will be printed in the Show’s programme which is available at the event.
