Coarse Fishing

The Angling Trust is the representative body for game, coarse and sea anglers in England. Their members support the campaigns and legal action they carry out to protect fish stocks and their programmes increase the number of anglers fishing for fun and in competitions.

Pat and Phil Smith are two Level 2 Licensed Angling coaches and members of the Angling Trust (the umbrella for all angling - sea, game and coarse). They will be running a couple of free half hour sessions within the Countryside Arena. Demonstrations will include how to cast accurately followed by a free, fun competition with compliments of the Show organisers. Phil and Pat will be available on their stand on the outer edge of the Countryside Arena with current information regarding the Trust, angling clubs and venues within the local area and will be happy to answer any questions you might have.
