Have a go Hurry

Every gundog owner has heard of or tried scurries, which are usually a test of speed, control, obedience and the ability of the gundog to use its initiative.

As long as the dog obeys the general rules of the test, the fastest dog wins. Sounds very formal but let me tell you they are fun!!!  But not for those dogs without, shall we say, gundog credentials, as they are excluded.

We think this is unfair, so again for 2012 the Cotswold Show will have “Hurries” These events are open to the general public and designed for those who have never tried scurries, anyone can have a go.

So go on give it a try and watch your dog have the time of his (or her) life!
