The Falconry experience has two aims. Firstly, to give visitors the thrill of spectacular flying displays, creating memories to last a lifetime!
And secondly, to create a wonderful area where visitors meet the world of falconry, where they can enjoy and explore all aspects of the sport, including health, welfare and legal issues.
Hawkeye Falconry UK is one of the most sought after falconry display teams in the United Kingdom. Their years of experience, dedication and passion drive the team to exhibit their birds in a very unique and professional manner.
There will be demonstrations in the Bathurst Arena each day.
Hawkeye is also offering ‘Have a Go’ sessions. You sign up to a session throughout the day, at their stand, on a first come first serve basis.
The sessions will mainly include owls and are planned to run between 10 – 15 minutes each. During this time the participants get to have a go at flying one of the birds, as well as learning a lot about the species.
The sessions are free but a small donation to the charities they support (Raptor Rescue and Hawk and Owl Trust) will be asked for.
